Cawarral State School is a small rural community, situated 30 kilometres east of Rockhampton and approximately 650km north of Brisbane in the Central Queensland Region. Cawarral celebrated its 125th anniversary in 1999 and has a strong historical connection with the early pioneers in gold-mining and farming. It is situated between Coorooman Creek Road and Annie Drive.
We pride ourselves on being a family-oriented school with a proud sense of community. Children are encouraged to develop as individuals and classroom teachers cater for all needs. We welcome parent participation in our classrooms and are supported by a very active P&C Association.
