Coowonga is a small rural school with a family-like atmosphere. The school is committed to promoting the values of honesty, care and respect for others and life-long learning. Our two full-time, dedicated teaching staff, with support from specialist teachers and teacher–aides, provide focused small group learning and one to one learning support with opportunities for students to develop self-confidence and independent learning skills.
At Coowonga School we regard education as a three way process involving teacher, parent and child. Students, parents and staff are all valued members of the Coowonga School community and learning process. The school aims in developing a constructive and positive partnership between parents and staff. When these links are strong, student learning is maximised.
