Our school was established in 1956 and is situated in the inner western suburb of Sunshine. We currently have an enrolment of 313 students. The students at our school come from diverse cultures and we pride ourselves on the harmony we have achieved between students from such multicultural backgrounds.
At Sunshine Heights we aim to develop resourceful, resilient students who are equipped with the academic knowledge and personal skills to function as successful individuals in a technologically advanced society.
We cater for a variety of learning styles within our curriculum programs and value the partnerships between school, home and the wider community. We recognise that students learn at different rates therefore we have a variety of support programs to scaffold students in their learning. Our teachers are also committed to the welfare of their students in their care and are constantly updating their knowledge and skills.
